Alton, Mo. – The Alton Senior Center is preparing for Valentine’s Day for our local seniors. Although the center is closed to protect our elderly, the center wants to make sure these elderly know they are loved and missed.
Who Is Involved?
Meghan Haenel, who is head of the Thayer and Alton Senior Area Agency on Aging, is announcing a special valentine treat bag. Seniors just have to show up in the parking lot, ring the bell at the back door, and the center will send them off with a Goodie Bag. Keeping space will keep everyone safe, while, hopefully, showering love on them.
When Is This?
This fun takes place on Thursday, February 11, 2021. The center will hand out bags from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
What Is In The Bags?
These treat bags will contain fruit, candy, cookies, and valentines!
