The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center has their menu and activities out for September 2022. They have a variety of delicious menu items and lots of fun, engaging activities for seniors.
Delicious Menu Items
To start off the month on September 1st, veggie soup, hot ham and cheese sandwich, and a chocolate chip cookie will be served. On September 9th, roast with potatoes and carrots, tomato salad, biscuit, and a moose track cookie will be dished out. Alpine chicken, California vegetables, hot roll, and a turtle cake will be served on September 20th. Their monthly supper breakfast is on September 29th, with biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, and fresh fruit.
Activities
On September 7th at 10:00 am, seniors can meet and write letters to other seniors across the state. The next day, the 8th, at noon, seniors can play bingo with Beverly. An exciting and crafty activity is pottery painting on September 13th. You must RSVP to attend. On September 22nd at 1:00 pm, a lost loved ones grief support will be available.
