The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center has many delicious meals and fun activities planned for February of 2024.
Meals
On February 5th, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, spinach, biscuit, and cherry crisp will be served. On February 9th, Polish sausage, sauerkraut, black-eyed peas, cornbread, and cream cheese brownies will be served. Potato soup, grilled ham and cheese sandwich, bananas, and pig pickin’ cake will be served on February 12th. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, and strawberries and bananas will be served on February 21st. To finish out the month on February 29th, open-face beef sandwiches, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and fruit cocktail cake will be served.
Activities
On February 5th, there will be a foot clinic. On February 7th, there will be Valentine’s pictures. Cards and games will be played on February 20th at 10:00 am. The next day, individuals can make and mail cards to friends. On February 27th and 28th, there will be necktie crafts and St. Patrick’s Day crafts, respectively.
