It is a new year with new resolutions. Both the Red Cross and the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks say blood donations are needed at this time.
Where Is The Nearest Donation Location?
Several blood drives have been planned, and any location can suit a schedule. The first one is hosted by the American Red Cross. At the Walmart parking lot in West Plains, Missouri, a vehicle is set up to take donations. Someone will man the office on January 2, 2020, and January 3, 2020. It will be available from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Other locations and dates
On January 7, 2020, the Community Blood Center (CBCO) will be present at the First Baptist Church in Cabool, Missouri. For an after-work contribution, this service is available from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. On January 9, 2020, the CBCO will be at the Hartville High School between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and will be at the Dora High School between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The next day, January 10, 2020, CBCO will be at the Community Center in Mountain View from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
What Are The Donation Restrictions?
In order to donate blood, you must be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. A valid photo ID is necessary. When arriving, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding your health.
Donating blood is harmless to the donor. It is a way to help another, without even being present.
