Alton, Mo. – This Saturday, November 11, 2023, the BB Road Volunteer Fire Department is having its annual hunters’ meal. With deer hunting underway, this is the perfect way to relax without the hassle of preparing your own food.
What Is Happening?
The BB Road Volunteer Fire Department is having a hunters’ meal. The meal consists of ham-and-beans or chili with all of the fixings. A tableful of desserts will be present. At this time, they will draw the winner for the kitchen appliance and rifle raffle.
When Is This?
The meal is Saturday, November 11, 2023. This is the beginning of deer firearm season when many locals are busy taking care of their harvest. Instead of worrying about the next meal, come here.
Where Is This?
The meal will be at the BB Road Fire Department/Community Center. From Alton, take Highway 160 east to County Road 225. This is about 10 miles. Take it south to County Road 222. It is on the corner. There is ample parking for everyone.
Who Can Attend?
This meal is available to everyone. Adults and children over age 12 pay only $10. Children 12 and under pay $6. and preschoolers eat FREE! They do have carryouts available.
What Else?
You can buy a raffle ticket that night, but only until 6:30 p.m. Raffle tickets cost $1 each. All proceeds go to help cover the fire department’s expenses.
