The Children’s Ballet of the Ozarks is holding their 5th annual Nutcracker Ballet on December 11, 12, 18, and 19, 2020, at the West Plains Civic Center.
Where and When
The ballet will be held at the West Plains Civic Center in West Plains, Missouri. The performance will take place on Friday, December 11; Saturday, December 12; Friday, December 18; and Saturday, December 19, at 7:00 pm. There will also be an earlier performance of “The Nutcracker” on December 12 and 19 at 2:00 pm.
Admission
Tickets for the ballet are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Groups of twenty or more may receive tickets for $8. You can buy tickets from a dancer, or buy them at www.childrensballetoftheozarks.com. You can also buy tickets by calling 417-217-3546 or purchasing them at the West Plains Civic Center.
“The Nutcracker” Ballet
“The Nutcracker” is about young Clara on Christmas Eve who receives a magical Nutcracker Doll from her Uncle Drosselmeyer. The Nutcracker transforms into a young boy at midnight and he defeats the Mouse King. He and Clara go from the Pine Forest to the Land of Sweets.
