What kind of dreams does your young adult have? Is it having the chance to sit in the sun by the water while watching children to keep them safe? If so, this may be the summer of opportunity for him. The Alton City Hall is taking applications for lifeguards at the city pool.
Who Can Apply?
Alton City Hall is looking for persons looking for a seasonal job. Although persons of any age may apply, usually youth wanting a seasonal job apply. Anyone sixteen and older may apply. However, City Hall will take applications from 15-year-olds. Nonetheless, all individuals, no matter their age, will need to find their own transportation to and from the pool. The applicant need not have any prior experience to apply.
When Is The Application Due?
City Hall is taking applications from now only until March 10. At that time, those in charge will decide who gets the job offers.

Pool Opening
The Alton City Pool opens Memorial weekend and remains open through the beginning of school, weather permitting.
Other Details
To those accepted as lifeguards, the city provides lifeguard training which does include CPR and other training classes.
This is a great opportunity for a seasonal job for college students or high school students wanting extra money. It is seasonal, only lasting through the summer, and it is local. The applicant will be instructed with all details.
