Alton, Mo. – Alton has an eclipse committee, and they are meeting to discuss the eclipse in Oregon County, preparedness, and a possible website. They are interested in what the public says, so bring your ideas.

This is open to businesses as well as residents—no charge. All are welcome to participate with suggestions.

People will meet at Court Square Cafe to discuss the eclipse happenings.
The Great American Eclipse is a big deal. And, yes, people will travel to Alton, Missouri, to watch it get dark. Alton needs to anticipate crowds now to be ready. This is a time to exchange ideas and see what others are doing. The eclipse is just around the corner, coming up in April 2024. It is time now to assemble.
