On Aug 18th, 19-year-old Faith Collins fell asleep outside while watching for shooting stars near her home in Alton, MO. In a freak accident, she was run over by a vehicle while she slept.
Faith was life-flighted from the scene to a trauma center in Springfield, MO where she went through major spinal surgery, and is now receiving medical care. As a result of this life-altering accident, she is paralyzed from the waist down.
There is Hope! With her age, healthy history, and with the severity of her injury, she qualifies for the BEST rehab facilities in the country! At one of these facilities, she would be able to work at regaining as much function as possible, and help keep her impacting the world around her with her light!
UPDATE: Faith is currently at Madonna Rehab in Lincoln, Nebraska. Keep praying for her progress…which may take a long time, but the family keeps their faith and remains hopeful.
