When is this meeting?
The first 4H meeting for Oregon County, Missouri is on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. It begins immediately following school at 3:45 pm. It will last until 5:00 pm.
Where Is This Meeting?
The local 4H meeting will be held in Mrs/ Hitch’s 5th-grade classroom. This is at the Alton Public School.
Who Can Come?
Parents, as well as students, can come. This is open to students ages 8-18. However, as many families are new to 4H, parents are definitely invited. Public, as well as homeschooled students, are invited.
What Do The 4 H’s Stand For?
The four h’s in 4H represent Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. They are the four values members work on through fun and engaging programs. Through 4 H students learn more than animals. They learn food preparation, plants, crafts, and making things.
