The Alton, Missouri, Sew Blessed Piecemakers quilting group is working on another lovely Quilt of Valor quilt. The Quilt of Valor, once completed, is given to a local veteran.
The Group
The group members each participate in making the blocks and setting them together. The quilt is then quilted and the binding is sewn on by Cassie Shields and Billie Blankenship of S & S Fabric store in Alton.
First Quilt
Sew Blessed Piecemakers was honored to present their first Quilt of Valor on March 2, 2023, to Dale Adrian of Alton. Their hope is to be able to continue to show other local veterans how much they appreciate them for serving our country.
