Alton, Mo. – Sew Blessed Piecemakers is a local quilting group. They gather monthly to make beautiful quilts. The quilts are given away or raffled off to help a needy group. As they just completed a quilt, they are selling raffle tickets now through October 5, 2024. All proceeds benefit the local fire department. Here are the details.
What About The Quilt?
Around a dozen industrious women crafted this hand-sewn quilt, which is a stunning array of colors. It is on display in town at various locations.
September 9-13, it will be displayed at the Southern Bank in Alton. From September 16-20, The Alton License Bureau will display it. The Alton Bank will display it from September 23-27. And Simpson’s True Value will show it from September 30- October 4.
Tickets?
The group is selling raffle tickets to win this quilt. Tickets are $5 each or three tickets for $10. You can purchase them anytime from Simpson’s True Value or S & S Fabric.
Drawing
The drawing for this quilt will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm. during the Walnut Festival.
