The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center is looking for volunteers to help with home delivered meals.
Days
The Tuesday and Wednesday routes are approximately one hour long (8:00 am-9:00 am) for in Alton and surrounding town. The Thursday route, which is in the country, takes two to four hours depending on the week. The Friday routes (8:00 am-9:00 am) are every other Friday and last about one hour.
Transportation
Transportation to deliver the meals will be provided. Volunteers will be paired up with other volunteers to help with the deliveries; so there will not be any individuals will not be alone on routes.
Volunteers
Delivering meals is completely volunteer work. However, a hot meal at the senior center will be provided for volunteering that day with them.
