Back in February of this year, the community center received a grant from the Community Foundation of the Ozarks for a new playground. The anticipated delivery of the playground equipment is in July. At that time, the installation will begin. The playground will include a central unit with a slide, climbing bars, and two sets of swings. Picnic tables and benches will also be included.

July 4th
Thomasville already has their Fourth of July celebrations well under way. They will have the event on Saturday, July 1st. With the events beginning at 4:00 pm, there will be a rodeo, “whole pie” silent auction, quilt raffle, ice cream parlor, concessions, and then the fireworks at dark.
Labor Day
Although they don’t have the details, a Labor Day event is being planned with different activities.
Christmas Bazaar
The Thomasville Christmas Bazaar will happen in November again, but the dates are still to be decided. There will be Christmas trees, floral arrangements, hand-crafted items, a quilt raffle, and several other things.
