What Is The Walnut Festival?
Alton, Missouri hosts the annual Walnut Festival in October. It is a much-anticipated family-friendly event. With food vendors, handmade items, contests, and music, those in charge were worried about health concerns. Therefore, with the current situation, a vote passed at the last meeting to cancel this event. As of today, no one is thinking about canceling 2021. However, this does give vendors and participants an additional year to prepare.
