Alton, Mo. – Cooler weather brings thoughts of fall and the annual Ozarks Black Gold Walnut Festival. This marks the 38th year of hosting the festival. If you have attended one in the past and are wondering how to get a booth yourself, here is what you need to know.
When Is The Walnut Festival?

They will have a stage with live music throughout the day. Booths selling clothing, cooked food, farmer’s market items, and a large assortment of almost anything imaginable are at a booth around the square. Right now, they are planning children’s activities and maybe a pumpkin carving contest. Usually, they have a few contests for baking and carving.
