Alton And Thayer Farmer’s Markets Have Good First Turnout

The Alton and Thayer, Missouri, farmer’s markets opened today, April 6, 2024. Both markets had lots of vendors and lots of buyers.

Alton

At today’s farmer’s market, there were different vendors set up selling bread, baked goods, meat, eggs, puppies, aprons, teas, jams, taco seasoning, and much more.

When They’re Open

The Oregon County Farmer’s Market (Alton’s) is open from now until October 26th. It goes on every Saturday from 9:00 am until noon. If it rains, it will be under the pavilion at Tucker Creek Park, otherwise it will be on the walking trail behind the park.

Thayer

Thayer’s farmer’s market today was a special eclipse event. Over eight vendors were set up. Wind chimes, lemonade, tinctures, blankets, bandanas, pizza, cutlery, and plants were being sold.

Their Season

Thayer’s Farmer’s Market doesn’t officially open until April 13th. They also meet every Saturday, starting at 9:00 am.
