After busy schedules throughout February, the Alton, Missouri, Chamber of Commerce meeting had to be moved to February 23, 2023, and then again to March 2, 2023. Here’s a review of the meeting.
Scholarship
Graduation is coming up soon in May, and after that, seniors are going to be going to college. Alton High School seniors had a chance to apply for the Chamber of Commerce scholarship of $500. The winner will be announced in April.
New Website
To better communicate with the Alton citizens on upcoming and local events, the Chamber has decided to get a new website soon.
Grand Opening
While having already been open for a couple of months, Court Square Cafe will have its grand opening and ribbon cutting on March 11th at 2:00 pm—more info to come soon.
Next Meeting
The next meeting will be on Thursday, March 16th, at 5:30 pm. While the location is still the Community Worship Center, it may be moved to the Methodist Church basement.
