Alton, Mo. –The Alton, Missouri, Christmas parade took place on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Locals lined the streets to enjoy the parade and to get in the Christmas spirit.
The Crowing
The Mr. and Miss Merry Christmas ceremony happened right before the parade. Carstyn Casey and Oaklee Poe were crowned as the 2024 Mr. and Miss Merry Christmas. [1]
Parade
The parade lasted about twenty minutes. The theme was “Fishing You a Merry Christmas” so there was several boats decorated with Christmas lights. Horses, a tractor, atv’s, and fire trucks were also in the parade.
Booths
The 4-H Shooting Sports Club was selling chili and hot cocoa during the evening as well as Big D’s BBQ.
