Mountain View, Mo. – A Christian homeschool meeting was held in Mountain View, Missouri, at the Mt. View Christian Church on Friday, October 15, 2021, between 8:45 am and 11:30 am. All ages were welcome.
Starting Out
The meeting started out with prayer and a Bible story with Elisha. After a closing prayer, the kids were dismissed to the high-schoolers, middle elementary, and the younger kids.
The Classes
The high-schoolers went outside and learned how to change a flat tire. Every teen had an opportunity to participate in the activity. Afterwards, they learned how to classify bats during the “night shift.” The younger children also did that. In the middle elementary group, they baked cupcakes.
The Kids
About fifty youth and their parents came to the meeting. The attendance has been rising every week.
How To Participate
If you want to go to the meetings regularly, the cost is $35.00 per semester; and you have to sign a profession of faith saying you believe in God and the Bible.
Location
The meeting was held at the Mountain View Christian Church located on Highway 17 about a mile south of town. For additional questions or concerns, feel free to contact Susan at 417-247-1658.
