Opening
The ribbon cutting ceremony happened at 2:00 pm. Although it was an overcast day, locals still showed up to support the restaurant.
Hours
Their new hours are from Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday 6:00 am to 1:00 pm with breakfast service.
Settling In
The AltonMo.com field team had a chance to interview Thomas Sallings at the grand opening. One of the things Sallings mentioned was going the extra mile in their dishes.
Yeah, we want everything to go out, fully fleshed out, you know. We don’t want any hollow tasting dishes. We want everything to be fully realized…
When asked why he decided to start a restaurant here, he went on to say that since he grew up here, he would have the bigger impact here than elsewhere.
I also just think that this is where I should have an impact. If there’s any place in the world that I need to impact it’d probably where I’m from because I understand people around here…
Closing
At the end of the interview, Sallings said that they are ready for you to come and that they’re ready to serve you!
