Almost 20 years after the Columbine school shooting, over twelve Denver area school districts have been closed after the FBI, and local police officers warned the community of an “armed and dangerous” [1] woman in the area.
Look for Her
Sol Pais, an 18-year-old female who is allegedly “infatuated” with the 1999 Columbine shooting, flew from Miami to Denver yesterday. According to FBI Denver Special Agent In Charge Dean Phillips, she was then able to immediately buy a pump action shotgun and ammunition. Philips told reporters in a press conference on Tuesday that Pais had “made some concerning comments in the past” and was infatuated with the Columbine shooters and the shooting. [2]
She was last seen near the bottom of the hills of Jefferson County and the FBI are currently looking for her. The Jefferson County Sherriff’s Department tweeted out information to help passerby’s identify her. She’s “a white female, 18 years old, approximately 5’5″ in height, with brown hair according to the police department.

A Threat
“Her comments, her actions that we have heard about from others tend to cause us great concern that she may pose a threat to a school,” Phillips stated. “Her comments, her actions that we have heard about from others tend to cause us great concern that she may pose a threat to a school,” he added. Phillips concluded that she was a “credible threat” to the community and to the schools and that the search for Pais has turned into a “massive manhunt.”
April 20th marks the 20th anniversary of the Columbine school shooting, where two students killed 12 of their schoolmates along with one teacher.
