When we move to modern day favorites for the entire family, Elf is often at the top of the list. No matter how often you watch The Santa Clause, it doesn’t get old. Alongside these are renditions of A Christmas Carol and Home Alone. Children seem enchanted by Polar Express.

There’s speculation as to whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie, although there is a tree, party, and caroling.
