Alton, Mo. –Summer is in full swing, school is out, the pool is open, and you can sleep in until noon (if you don’t have any responsibilities). What’s a better way to spend your free nights than at Vacation Bible School in Alton, Missouri. Youths, from kindergarten all the way up through highschool, are invited to come to the First Baptist Church in Alton, Missouri to participate in games, crafts, worship, and snacks.
The best part about summer is the memories you make. Whether you are a kid or you know a kid, you can make memories with your friends at the First Baptist Church located next to Alton’s park. From Sunday evening until Thursday evening, the church will be holding a nightly VBS for kids of all ages.
Through 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., parents can either drop off their kids or stay and experience VBS with other parents for a wild experience.
This year VBS’ theme is “In the Wild” and youths will learn to zoom in and focus on Jesus as life gets a little wild sometimes.
Everyone will get to participate in team-oriented activities, Bible class time with other children their age, snacks, as well as stimulating the creative part of their brain during craft time.
