Alton, Mo. – Everyone feels bad when a child suffers. Although the child may be hurting, oftentimes, the parents are stressed and hurting also. This is especially difficult when the holidays come around.
The Smith family has a 5-year-old child who has a brain tumor. The Smith family is going through a difficult time. Can our community assist this family through a difficult time? By taking some of the worries of the medical cost away, the parents can concentrate on the well-being of their son.
Raffle
To encourage assistance, they are holding a gun raffle. The gun is a Savage Axis Bolt Action 223 Rem. One ticket for the raffle costs only $1. You can also purchase six tickets for $6. The Alton Bank here in Alton, Missouri is selling these tickets.
Family
Kennis Smith is the father of the child. He is a Harps meat cutter. The mother is Heather Smith. She works at the Alton Bank.
