There are several different types of schooling for kids: private schools, boarding schools, public schools, homeschooling, etc. Here are some definitions of the different types of schooling. In this part one article, private, public, and boarding schools will be discussed.
Private
A private school can be defined as a school supported by a person or a group rather than the government. [1] These schools can be Christian or secular.
Boarding
Boarding schools are located across the nation and the world. Students are often sent away to the school where they live on the campus [2]. Often, in the old times, children were sent away to England and other European boarding schools to learn.
Public
Almost everyone knows a public school. Public schools are [3]funded by local, state and/or federal governments. They teach kindergarten through twelfth grade along with extracurricular activities.
