As stated in the part one of the different types of schooling, this will be covering the different types of homeschooling. Different types include unschooling, virtual homeschooling, and homeschooling.
Unschooling
Unschooling is often called “child-led learning.” [1] It is when kids are allowed to follow their interests and learn in that way at their own pace.
Virtual Homeschooling
Virtual homeschooling also relates to the covid-19 pandemic. It is when the public schools had virtual schooling, which students could do away from school, in essence, at home. Or, in other words, the student is learning in a virtual environment, not in the actual classroom. [2]
Homeschooling
Homeschooling is when parents teach their children the basic school subjects while at home. The dictionary definition is “to teach a child at home rather than sending him or her to school.” [3] Parents sometimes homeschool their kids for one year, through eighth grade, or sometimes until they graduate.
