The AltonMo.com field team had a chance to invite the Homeschooling 101 Enrichment Day VBS Director Amanda Thomas to the studio for an interview about the event. The Enrichment Day is happening on January 28, 2023, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm at the Alton, Missouri, Assembly of God Church.
The Event
The Homeschooling 101 Enrichment Day is for veteran and newbie homeschoolers alike. It’s 101 because you can learn about basic homeschooling, and it’s an Enrichment Day because veteran homeschoolers can enrich their homeschooling.
Speakers
Four speakers- Shane Richardson, Christy Richardson, Kim Quon, and Orilla Crider– are coming to speak.
VBS
While the parents are upstairs, the kids will be downstairs going through a Vacation Bible School covering the 7 C’s of Creation by Answers in Genesis.
Other
This whole event is free. There will be a Q&A with the speakers over a free lunch.
