Alton, Mo. – Do you like spring? Although it has been a long time coming this year, spring is a time of hope, renewal, and new beginnings. One of the fresh smells of spring is found in the dirt. Whether you are planning your seeds for the garden or even preparing the placements of tender seedlings, Outback Greenhouse has experts with years of local knowledge to help you on your way. After a seasonal closure, the Outback Greenhouse is opening Saturday, the Grand Reopening for the season. You won’t want to miss it!
What Do They Offer?
Besides wisdom and knowledge, the local greenhouse offers seedlings and plants of a large variety. These are grown right here in Alton. Flowers, vegetables, and potted and hanging plants surround the greenhouse.
Where Are They Located?
Many residents of Alton did not realize that we have our own local greenhouse right here. From Alton, take Highway 160 east for 6.9 miles. Look for the sign on the right.
When Are They Open?
After being closed for a season, they are reopening their doors this Saturday- April 1, 2023., at 8:00 am.
