Hirsch’s in West Plains, Missouri, is once again holding bee classes. This year, it will be on February 10th, 17th, and 24th, 2024. [1]
Date and Location
The bee classes will be on the final three Saturdays in February: the 10th, the 17th, and the 24th. Classes will be from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. The classes will be at the store in West Plains. Lunch is not provided.
Cost
There is no cost to attend any of the bee classes.
Teacher
The teacher for the classes is James Rhein. He is a local beekeeper with over forty years of experience.
What’s Taught
A variety of things will be taught, including the basics of beekeeping needs and how the hive reacts, looks, operates, and thrives.

You can sign up at the front counter at Hirsch’s. You had better hurry, though, because seating is limited!
