What do you have around outside of your home? Pine cones? Greenery? Berries? The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) hosts a free workshop on using nature as holiday decorations. This online course allows you to make these crafts from the comfort of your home.
What Is This?
People who want to learn more about incorporating nature into their holiday decorations should register for the (MDC) program “Conservation Families: Natural Holiday Craft.” MDC Naturalist Jessie Ballard will demonstrate how a variety of items from the outdoors can make beautiful decorations. She will also show how the 2024 MDC Natural Events Calendar can be recycled to brighten up the holiday season.

This free virtual event takes place from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on December 6.
Where Is This?
Although the class will be in Joplin, it happens online, so you can stay home and participate.

Registration is required. You can do so here. Registrants must provide an e-mail so a program link can be sent to them. This workshop will include a chat-based question-and-answer period where participants can interact with the presenters.
