Alton, Missouri, residents can enjoy nature and participate in physical activities at Tucker Creek Park on Highway 19.
Courts
The park has one full-sized basketball court and two full-sized tennis courts. The tennis courts even have lights on them for night-time match-ups.
Playground
Across from the courts is a playground. That area has slides, swings, climbing apparatuses, and a tire swing- all on wood chips. Benches are also spread around the area for parents to sit on.
Pool and Pavilion
Directly across from the basketball and tennis courts is the pool. The pool features a big pool with a diving board as well as a kiddie pool. Below the courts is a pavilion where gatherings happen, whether for birthday parties, revivals, or reunions.
Walking Trail
To the back of the park is a gravel-lined walking trail. There is also a gravel road with parking in the back section. This is where the Oregon County Farmer’s Market meets when it’s not raining. Bathrooms are also available by the walking trail.
Tucker Creek Park is a park where memories are made and where people of all ages can get together to have fun.
