Alton, Mo. –The 38th Annual Black Gold Walnut Festival happened on October 7, 2023, in Alton, Missouri. During the event, the AltonMo.com field team went around and asked walnut-themed questions. There were a variety of foods mentioned for the second question. Most of the people asked, though, didn’t know what their favorite food with walnuts was. Other answers included walnut cake, fudge, ice cream, and brittle.
