Earlier this month, an Alton local, Aaron Shafer, passed away, leaving behind his wife, Faith, and their four kids. Multiple benefits are being held to support the Shafer family. A car wash will be held on June 3, 2023, between noon and 3:00 pm at the Southern Bank to help the family.

The car wash will be on Saturday, June 3, 2023, between noon and 3:00 pm at the Southern Bank in Alton.
Cost and Proceeds
The cost for a car wash is by donation. All the proceeds will go to the Shafer family.
The Host
Local homeschoolers are organizing the car wash. If any homeschooler would like to help out at the car wash, they can show up on the day for however long they are able to help; and if they have any extra buckets or sponges lying around, the homeschoolers can bring them too.
