Do you want to have a cookbook with all your favorite recipes or do you want a project to keep you busy all summer? Here’s how to make you own cookbook at home.
Gather Materials
To start off, gather all the materials you need. You will need a binder (the more recipes you have, the bigger you will need it), sheet protectors, dividers, paper, copier, and recipes.
Recipes
There will be fourteen categories in the cookbook: appetizers, beverages, breads, breakfast dishes, cakes/icings/candies, casseroles, cookies, desserts, meat/poultry/fish, pasta, pies, salads, soups/sauces, and vegetables. Get at least three recipes per category to start off; later you can add more.
Once you have all the recipes, put them into a word document if they aren’t already and print them out. Only do one-sided printing and make sure the recipes are only a page long. Once all the recipes are printed out, put them into the sheet protectors alphabetically in their respective categories.
The Cookbook
For the binder, make a cover for it; the cover can be simple or it can be fancy. Put the dividers into the binder with the different categories on it. Next, put the recipes into the binder alphabetically in their correct categories.
Done!
Now you are done with your cookbook! You can continue to add recipes as you find them to expand your cookbook.
