Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri, is putting on its M*A*S*H camp again in July. The deadline to register is May 31, 2024.
M*A*S*H
M*A*S*H stands for Medical Academy of Science and Health. It is available for area students who want to go into a career in the medical field.
What You Get
Each student will get lunch, snacks, a set of scrubs, and a certificate of completion during the camp.
Medical Fields
During the camp, students will get to experience a little bit of each career, including orthopedic surgery, radiology, pulmonology, emergency medicine, rehabilitation services, primary care, and nursing. [1] Occupational information will also be given for each career.
Camps
There will be two camps: one for high schoolers and one for seventh and eighth graders. For the high schoolers, their camp will be from Tuesday, July 9, 2024, to Wednesday, July 10, 2024. [2] The seventh and eighth graders camp will be on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Both camps will be on at the Ozark Healthcare’s main campus.
