America 250 is once again having its “What Does America Mean to You” essay and art contest. Registration deadline is May 16, 2025.
Who Is It For
This contest is for any student, whether a homeschooler, public schooler, or private schooler, from grades third through twelfth. [1]
Why the Contest?
The contest is in honor of the United States 250th anniversary as a country. The individuals who are students right now will help shape the next 250 years of the United States.
Winners
Twenty-five first-place awardees from each grade level category and a chaperone will receive airfare and lodging for a 3-day, 2-night trip to a select historical or cultural site. [2]
