Summer is here and school is out. That equals the time to swim. Last year most swimming pools were closed due to COVID-19. This year however, the Alton, Missouri, pool is opening on Memorial weekend!
When It Will Open
Alton’s swimming pool will open on Memorial Day weekend. When it opens, it will be open from noon until 7:00 pm.
Where It Is An What It Has
The pool is at Piney Creek Park. The pool has a wading pool for younger kids and a diving board.
Cost
The cost to go swimming is $4 for everyone who is older than three years old. Kids under three can go free. For a family of four, they can get a summer pass for $180. Additional family members cost $25 each. [1]
Inclement Weather
The pools is always open unless thunder is heard; than the everyone gets out of the pool for thirty minutes. If thunder is heard again, the timer restarts.
