The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is now accepting entries for their annual photography contest. Entering is free. You just need to submit your photo before October 1, 2021 [1].
Who?
Almost anyone can enter the contest. This is open to any amateur photographer. This contest has no age restrictions.
What Catagories?
This contest has three categories. The first category is natural resources, which include Missouri’s air, landscapes, and waterways. The second category is unique places. In this category, one submits a photo taken within one of Missouri’s state parks or historical sites. A complete list of Missouri parks is found here. The third grouping includes people spending time and enjoying Missouri’s outdoors.
When Is This?
The contest continues from April 1, 2021, through October 1, 2021.
What Are Some Rules?
One may enter up to two photos per category, for a total of six entries. However, you may submit a photograph for only one category. All photographs must be taken in Missouri. A complete list of rules including sizes of photos being submitted is found here. There is no entry fee.
Winning?
The DNR will feature the winning photos on their website and social media.
