Alton, Mo. – The Alton VFW is planning a food fundraiser this Friday. The public is invited to partake of the prepared foods available.
What Is Happening?
The Alton VFW is having a fundraiser. To earn money, they are selling pulled pork and pulled pork dinners. Extra barbecue sauce is available for purchase.
What Food Items Are Planned?
They will sell a meal of pulled pork sandwich, chips, and a pickle spear for $7.00. In addition, they are selling 2 pounds of pulled pork for $10.00. A pint of the homemade barbecue sauce is $5.00.
When Is This?
The local VFW is planning this event this Friday, June 18. You can begin purchasing your food at 10:30 a.m.
Free Delivery?!
The VFW is offering free deliveries within the city limits. They are also taking orders ahead of time. To place an order ahead of time, or for questions, please call 417-293-2306 or 417-270-0069.
Where Is The VFW?
The Alton VFW is on P Highway. From Highway 19, go a short distance past the Alton Freewill Baptist Church and it’s on the right side.
Additional Information
The Alton VFW Post Building will be open for your dining pleasure. Also, veterans who need help applying for military benefits will have the extra advantage of a Veterans Service Officer present at the meal.
This is an Alton VFW fundraiser. The Alton VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) does support Oregon County Veterans. So mark the date and call ahead to support local veterans while enjoying a hot meal you don’t have to make yourself.
