Alton, Mo. – The Alton Area Chamber of Commerce met on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Jason’s Mexican Restaurant in Alton, Missouri, to talk about the upcoming Christmas events.
Parade
The Christmas parade is set to start at 6:00 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Their will be a variety of floats, some decorated with Christmas lights, for the viewers to enjoy.
Night On The Town
This year’s Christmas Night On The Town will also be on December 4th on the square. There will be vendors set up so you can do your holiday shopping. The vendors will be open from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Some of the local businesses will stay open until 9:00 pm, along with the restaurants.
Christmas Light Contest
A favorite for businesses and individuals alike is the Christmas light contest. Businesses and individuals get to decorate their store/house and be creative with the Christmas lights.
