An event looked to by all ages in the annual Heart of the Ozarks Fair held every June. This year it will be from June 6- 11, 2022, at the fairgrounds in West Plains. The carnival is from June 7-11, 2022.
Monday
Monday, June 6th is the animal show. It will start at 8:00 am. The home economics, fine arts, and photography judging will be at 1:00 pm. At 2:00 pm the fruits and vegetables will be judged. There is no admission for Monday.
Tuesday
Tuesday also has no admission and the carnival rides are only $1.00. The carnival opens at 6:00 pm. Every night (from Tuesday through Saturday) the carnival will start at 6:00 pm.
Wednesday
For people six and up, it costs $5.00 to go to the fair (under six is free). Gospel Night with Blackwood Brothers Quartet and Mattingly Family will be in the evening. [1]
Thursday
For days Thursday through Saturday, kids six and under are free, ages 6-12 are $5.00, and ages 13 and up are $10.00. [2] An ATV Rodeo will begin at 5:00 pm.
Friday
The big event for Friday, June 10th is the truck pull (WW Promotions). That will begin at 7:00 pm.
Saturday
The last day of the fair brings the demolition derby (Oklahoma Boys Promotions). An exciting event for everyone. This will start at 7:00 pm.
