Each year, high schoolers nationwide are encouraged to participate in the Congressional Art Contest, which our US representatives sponsor. They take digital entries, but the deadline is coming soon!
Who Can Enter?
All high school students can enter the contest. There is no discrimination between public schools, homeschooled, or private schools. This is valid for anyone living legally in Missouri. Be sure to submit the student release form so they know who the winner is. There is no fee to enter.
What Can Be Entered?
There are specific rules for entering artwork. You can enter paintings, photos, drawings, and more! For example, it cannot be larger than 26 inches by 26 inches or weigh more than fifteen pounds. This is important for the winners. The winning pieces will be displayed in the Capitol Cannon Tunnel, and the winner will win a free trip to see them.
Deadline?
The deadline to have your artwork submitted is April 4, 2025.
Where To Submit Entry?
You must submit your entry through our state representative, Representative Jason Smith. Please get in touch with Jodi.Williams@mail.house.gov or Megan.Nickey@mail.house.gov.
