Christmas is a time of giving. It’s the time where we think about others that we usually do not otherwise think about. Every year, churches get the local community together and pack Operation Christmas Child Shoe boxes. The time has now come to get them to local drop-off locations.
Locations
The locations around Alton, Missouri, is as follows: Thayer First Baptist Church, West Plains First Baptist Church, and Trinity Worship Center on K Highway in West Plains. [1] There are more than 4,500 drop-off sites this year across the U.S.

The collection week this year is from Monday, November 14, 2022, to Monday, November 21, 2022. [2]
In The Box
When kids around the world get an Operation Christmas Chile Shoe Box, it’s filled with hygiene supplies, crayons, pens or pencils, coloring books, a “wow” item like a stuffed animal, and lots more!
The Operation
This year, Operation Christmas Child hopes to reach eleven million people through the shoe boxes. Operation Christmas Child seeks to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to millions of kids around the world and to share with them, the Gospel. This year, Operation Christmas Child will collect its 200-millionth shoe box! [3]
