Fall is coming. With the summer heat leaving, various community festivals are coming our way. Weekends are made to get out and enjoy, from the Alton Walnut Festival to Birch Tree Loggers Day to the Koshkonong Heritage Day Festival. Suitable for the participants, they are all on different weekends.
The community of Koshkonong is planning a Heritage Day Festival in October. Filled with races, food, and fun, attendees and vendors will make memories this year. Vendors can register a booth for FREE! Mark your calendars for the Saturday in October.
What Is Happening?
Koshkonong is celebrating the Heritage Day Festival. You can dress up in old-time clothes and come prepared for fun. Test your agility with outhouse races. They are already decorating them in preparation for the event. Besides outhouse races, you can try your hand- and legs- at lawnmower races, chicken chases, and skillet-throwing contests. They will award prizes for children’s activities.
When Is This?
The Koshkonong Heritage Day Festival is set for Saturday, October 21, 2023. The fun begins at 9:00 a.m. and continues until 5:00 p.m.
Where Is This?
This all happens in Koshkonong, Missouri, just a neighboring town of Alton.
Who Can Attend?
This is a family-friendly event. Bring children, adults, and grandparents for an outdoor day of fun. For more information, you can click here.
Vendors can rent booth space for FREE this year by emailing city hall at koshkonongcityhall@gmail.com.
