School is right upon us, starting in about one week. With school starting, that means city pools are closing. The West Plains Aquatic Center will be closing on August 20, 2023, and the Alton City Pool is closing on August 17, 2023.
Alton
The Alton City Pool has been busy with shark lessons, swimming lessons, water aerobics, lap swimming, pool parties, and daily swims this summer. They will be closing up for the summer on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
West Plains
The West Plains Aquatic Center has also been busy. They have had swimming lessons, pool parties, and free swimming time. Their closing date is Sunday, August 20, 2023. [1]
Make sure to get your last swimming in before the pools close!
