Two fundraiser cornhole tournaments are being held tomorrow, January 20, 2024, in Alton and Thayer, Missouri.
Alton
In Alton, the tournament is a St. Jude fundraiser. It will be at the Alton FEMA building. Registration begins at 10:00 am, and the tournament will start at 11:00 am. There will be two brackets: Advanced (cost is $60 per team) and Backyard (cost is $40 per team). [1] You can bring your own partner.
Raffle
There will also be a cornhole board raffle going on. Tickets are $1 for one ticket or $5 for six tickets. The drawing will be held at the tournament. To buy tickets, you can contact Cecily Janes, Jeffery Roberts, Jeff Myers, or Lonnie Tillman.
Thayer
The other cornhole tournament going on will be in Thayer at the Thayer Christian Activity Center. The Toss 4 A Cure Cornhole Tournament will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The cost is $25 per team. A meal will be sold separately. The money will help the Refuge Apostolic Youth Group go to the Missouri Youth Convention in St. Louis in March. [2]
