On Saturday, April 20, 2019, the First Baptist Church in Mammoth Spring, AR will hold its annual Easter egg hunt. This annual happening draws a large crowd each year.
When
Participants and their families may gather at 11:00 a.m. The church will provide lunch at that time. Immediately afterward, the children go outdoors. Then they are segregated by age for the egg hunt. The actual Easter egg hunt begins at noon.
Who
The hunt is open for all children up to age twelve. By separating the older children from the younger ones, it is a fair hunt for all involved.
What
The church supplies hundreds of eggs pre-filled with candy or prizes. In the past, larger prizes like bikes have been won by various ages. The church is currently taking donations of either candy or money to purchase candy for this event. The church also supplies a number of empty Easter baskets to be used for egg collecting.
Next
The next day is Easter Sunday. The public is invited to the church’s service at 10:30 a.m.
