Alton, Mo. – The Alton, Missouri, Chamber of Commerce wants your opinion on what to do with the pocket park in Alton on the court square. The survey is just one page long, with seven questions for individuals to answer. Before proceeding with plans for the park, they want the community’s input. What would benefit the community the most? Several people have suggested ideas. One can also suggest ideas of collecting funds to accommodate this park.

The proposed park is between JoElla’s Beauty and the Alton Public Library, both on the square.

Do you live in Alton? You can fill out the survey. Do you work in Alton? You can fill out the survey. Do you travel through Alton? You can fill out the survey. Anyone interested in parks or the city of Alton is invited to fill out the survey.

Because the Chamber does want to move forward in this park endeavor, they want all responses turned in by December 31, 2023. The Chamber does value your opinion. They want you to have a say in the city’s improvement.
