Thayer, Mo. – The towns of Thayer, Missouri and Mammoth Spring, Arkansas will be holding their second annual city-wide yard sale of 2019 on the first week of October. On Friday and Saturday, October 4 and 5, the city-wide-yardsale will be held; anyone is welcome to either buy or sell their goods.
Businesses And Residents Hold Sales
Companies, as well as residents, look forward to this sale every time it comes around. The event helps brings in customers who take advantage of deals in town. Businesses often have tables or racks set up right on the sidewalks, making easy access for shoppers. After browsing and spending, the customers can then go to yard sales. By having the entire town participating in the yard sale, additional advertising is not always necessary. One can park at the end of the block and walk the whole neighborhood, from one sale to the next.
When Does This Take Place
This event occurs twice a year and is anticipated by locals and travelers. There is usually a spring sale, and a fall one held every year. Even in inclement weather, yards are set up and prepared for distributing their goods. Buyers know that reasonable prices and lots of variety are abundant in exchange for a little driving and bargain hunting. In past years maps of local yard sale were available. Children and adults have fun in this two-day sale.
